About Occupational Therapy Services
Lighthouse Health Group has been providing high-quality Occupational Therapy services to the community for 25 years, providing a range of services to people with disabilities or developmental delays.
These include individual occupational therapy sessions, parents and caregiver training, school and home visits, and occupational therapy reports. Our therapists utilise evidence-based, person-centred practices to support each person reach their full potential.
Our experience and expertise includes:
- Developmental skills: Play and social interaction, fine and gross motor development, handwriting and functional grip, pre-writing and early school skills.
- Assessments: Developmental assessments for paediatricians and NDIS functional capacity assessments.
- Daily living skills: Building independence in self-care activities such as toileting, dressing, bathing, and grooming.
- Emotional regulation and social development: Supporting emotional regulation, sensory processing differences and social communication development.
- Education support: School readiness, and support for smooth transitions to school, high school, or vocational pathways. Collaborating closely with educators to support learning and help each child reach their potential.

Meet Yvette
Yvette is our Occupational Therapist based in Sydney (NSW). She works from our Dural practice and provides home, preschool and school visits when needed. An empathetic and dedicated practitioner, Yvette is passionate about helping children and adults recognise and reach their full potential.
While she works with people across the lifespan, her specialisation is in Paediatric OT, particularly in supporting children with:
- Neurodevelopmental disabilities (e.g., autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, dyslexia, FASD)
- Developmental delays (motor skills, social communication, learning, and emotional skills)
- Traumatic brain injury
- Hypermobility
- Genetic disabilities
Yvette supports clients from as young as 3 years old through to adulthood, offering comprehensive therapy services — including functional capacity assessments — to help achieve developmental and functional goals. Alongside her paediatric expertise, Yvette also has experience in minor home modifications and complex mental health.
