Meet Carina
Can you tell us a bit about your background?
I’m a dedicated and innovative Physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience in both clinical and managerial roles within the health industry. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through holistic, evidence-based practices.
I have proven expertise in neurological rehabilitation and vestibular therapy, including migraine management and complex case management. These are areas I’ve focused on throughout my career and where I can make a real impact.
How has your experience in both clinical and managerial roles shaped your approach to patient care?
My background includes both clinical work and team leadership. I have experience in performance management, conflict resolution, and supporting teams under pressure — all of which have helped me develop a well-rounded approach to delivering care and supporting others to do the same.
I’m adept at thriving in high-pressure environments and bring strong time management and organisational skills to my work. Being able to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities has always been one of my strengths.
I enjoy complex case management and using advanced problem-solving to support clients. My focus is always on providing person-centred care that helps individuals achieve meaningful outcomes.
What do you love outside of work?
Outside of work, I stay active with kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, yoga, snow sports, and hiking. These activities keep me energised and balanced. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and exploring new cultures through travel.
What excites you most about being part of a collaborative team like Lighthouse Health Group?
I’m eager to leverage my skills in a dynamic and collaborative setting. Being part of a team that values holistic, evidence-based practice is something that really motivates me.
