Melissah has been a registered nurse for 9 years and graduated with a Bachelor in Nursing from the University of Tasmania.
Melissah holds post graduate qualifications in wound management and stoma and continence, which were completed in 2019.
Melissah has had a variety of experience in her nursing career. After starting off as a new graduate at St Vincent’s Private Hospital working in orthopedics, she then moved on to family planning, as well as community nursing, including the afterhours outreach service for spinal cord injured people.
Melissah has enjoyed other sectors of nursing which include scrub/scout for plastic and cosmetic surgeons, but chose to specialize in wound care and stoma and continence care.

Melissah has recently joined the Lighthouse Health Group team to take on a dual role of wound care & continence nurse, including case management to facilitate all client care needs.
