Quality Manager
Can you tell us about your background and how you came to work at Lighthouse?
I have over 20 years of experience in administration, customer service, and quality/compliance case management across corporate and not-for-profit sectors in health and education.
In 2013, I became Group Education Officer for a small childcare provider, developing and maintaining the quality management system and training staff in curriculum development to ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and Standards.
In 2015, I joined the YMCA as Qikkids Support Officer, managing accounts for 30 childcare centres and OSHC services. I ensured compliance within the CCMS system, liaised with customers, service providers, and government departments, and delivered staff training.
In 2017, I became WA Compliance Specialist for Camp Australia, overseeing 75 services. I liaised with government agencies, mentored staff, conducted internal audits, and maintained the quality management system.
In 2019, I became Practice Manager at Thrive Occupational Therapy, overseeing all aspects of practice management and quality system review. Later that year, I joined Connect Case Management (ccm.) as Office Coordinator, where I developed a strong understanding of the NDIS. I managed administration, supported NDIS registration and audits, and led compliance through quality systems and auditing processes.
What are some of your key responsibilities at LHG and how do your values guide your approach to quality, compliance, and supporting others through the NDIS?
As Quality Manager at LHG, I ensure compliance with NDIS standards via our Quality Management System and auditing processes. I also assist with office management, administration, and NDIS registration maintenance.
I’m professional, respectful, and highly attuned to others’ needs. I bring a positive, can-do attitude and am passionate, organised, and resourceful. I take initiative to drive improvements that lead to high-quality outcomes.
I believe everyone deserves the best opportunity in life, delivered with empathy, equity, and fairness. These values guide me in supporting teams, developing systems, and managing compliance.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
In my spare time, I enjoy caravanning around WA with my husband, two boys, and our puppy. I also love the outdoors, sport, reading, cooking, entertaining, and relaxing by the pool.
