Meet Sara …

Can you tell us about your background?
Prior to working within the Disability space, I worked in various fields including Hospitality and Retail.

After finishing university and completing a Bachelor of Psychology, with honours, I began a career in Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination. It is through this job, I discovered a passion for working with those with a disability, specifically within the Speech Pathology Field.

As I have now returned to study, I decided to step into an administrative role with Lighthouse. My experience in customer support roles and roles within the NDIS, has reinforced my passion for helping others and I strive to support accessibility and inclusivity in every aspect of my work.

What attracted you to working at Lighthouse Health Group?
What really drew me to Lighthouse Health Group was their person-centred approach and genuine commitment to accessibility and inclusion, these are values that strongly align with my own. I was looking for a space where I could continue contributing meaningfully while also preparing for my future studies in Speech Pathology. Lighthouse offered that perfect balance.

I was also really impressed by the supportive team culture. From the start, it felt like a supportive and collaborative environment, where everyone is working toward a shared purpose.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
In her spare time, Sara enjoys activities such as trying new restaurants around Perth, shopping and spending time with her family, friends and pets.
