Tell us a bit about your background and experience?
I am an Occupational Therapist with 12 years of clinical experience working in the community alongside clients with a variety of physical and psychosocial diagnoses.
My work as an occupational therapist involves a combination of clinical and case management roles, including injury management and supporting clients in return-to-work roles.
What is your approach to supporting clients and working with a team to achieve positive outcomes?
I apply my strong communication skills through motivational interviewing, coaching, and mentoring to help build client independence and facilitate sustainable outcomes. I have experience working in a range of schemes, collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines.
I enjoy taking a holistic approach to rehabilitation, supporting clients to achieve their goals by maximizing independence and fostering community engagement, as well as social and leisure participation.
What is your current role at Lighthouse?
I have recently joined the LHG Team, working in the Medico-Legal space, and I’m enjoying the peer support and mentoring from colleagues.
Currently, I work with a wide range of individuals, health professionals and involved parties to achieve successful outcomes for clients.
