Yvette Milliken

Occupational Therapist

Yvette has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) degree from Australian Catholic University.

Yvette has had experience working in mental health, paediatrics, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and palliative care. While having recently completed her four year degree, Yvette has had over ten years’ experience working with a diverse range of children and adults across a range of sports.

In particular, Yvette has worked with children with ASD, ADHD, developmental delays and Down Syndrome.

Yvette is passionate about inclusion and helping children to recognise their potential and explore their individuality. Yvette believes inoffering person and family-centred services and uses a strengths-based approach to empower children to achieve their goals.

Her sessions are play-based – believing this is FUNdamental – and incorporate evidence-based interventions to meet the child’s needs.
