Julia D’Orazio

Accredited Social Worker, Case Manager
& NDIS Specialist Support Coordinator

Julia is an Accredited Social Worker with 6 years’ experience, having worked across the disability and not-for-profit sectors and in private practice in perinatal and infant mental health.

Julia enjoys supporting NDIS participants with psychosocial disabilities, justice and child protection interaction, and has an interest in working with mums, families, paediatrics and adolescents. Julia has come to us from Ark Support Co-ordination where she worked with a diverse group of clientele. Prior to this Julia worked in mental health and bereavement support with adolescents and young adults, and at a private practice in perinatal and infant mental health.

 

Julia is heavily informed by attachment theory and has a strong focus on building healthy relationships to promote social and emotional wellbeing. Julia is guided by her values of social justice and ensuring equitable access to services and supports for everyone in the community. Julia collates her knowledge, skills and experience as a social worker, along with the social model of disability to provide evidence-based support and proven strategies to guide your journey.

Julia is known for her enthusiasm, positive life outlook and sense of humour when facing difficult situations.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys spending time with her young daughter and socialising with friends over a good cup of coffee.
